I'm a mum and am looking for evening work I can do from home?

Thanks for your question Grace, there are lots of mums with children that already work from home. Although difficult it is possible to work and look after your children at the same time. It sounds like however you just want to be able to work in the evenings rather than working during the day.

Evening typing jobs that can be done from home are coveted as it allows you the luxury of not having to worry about leaving the home and therefore missing out on valuable contact with the family. There are many people who want to earn some extra money but do not want to have to commute to a job every day or evening either because it is impractical or just plain unappealing.

The good news is that I have covered similar questions thoroughly before. You can read about where you can apply for home working jobs or if you are more of a self motivated person then you can find yourself some freelancing work. Freelancing just means that you do work for several people rather than a single employer. Finally you can do some pocket money jobs such as paid surveys that you can do at any time even during the evenings.

The advice I always give to everyone is to be wary of scammers and offers that sound too good. If a site is offering you work but you have to pay a fee up front then under no circumstances send them your money. You will not be able to get your money back and you will certainly not be able to get any work out of it. The only caveat is if you are paying to educate or improve yourself such as buying a home study course or self help book. When it comes to being an internet based worker knowledge is everything. It will not only help you avoid getting scammed but also get you working more efficiently and more profitably.
