There are several things you need to know if you want to try doing paid surveys for yourself. The advantages are that it costs nothing to try and provides good experience if you have never done any work from home before. They do not require much in the way of any particular skills or experience however you will get on better the faster you are and if you already know your way around a keyboard and mouse.
As well as the positives it is also important to be aware of the downsides. Most importantly is that you should not consider this type of work as any more than a way to provide you with so extra pocket money. Hopefully I have filtered out the bad market research companies and keep a very short but focussed list of the legitimate paid survey sites that have built up a long term reputation for providing paid work. Remember never pay to join a survey site.
